The New Orleans AI Education Fund accelerates academic gains across the city by helping educators and schools use AI thoughtfully, strategically, and in service of student learning.

The New Orleans AI Education Fund focuses on four core activities to advance this work:

Expertise
We build AI expertise among school and system leaders so educators can make informed, confident decisions about how—and when—AI supports teaching and learning.

Implementation
We support the strategic implementation of AI-powered tools where they advance specific academic goals, strengthen instruction, and align with high-quality curriculum and assessment.

Redesign
We empower leading adopters to redesign aspects of their school models, generating practical, real-world examples of how AI can deepen learning and sustain academic progress when implemented well.

Ecosystem
We cultivate a broader innovation ecosystem by sharing lessons learned, shaping the conditions for responsible AI use, and contributing to citywide learning—alongside other efforts using different tools to advance the shared goal of improved student outcomes.

Accelerating academic gains is the goal of our work. AI is a tool to help us get there.

By grounding AI use in educator leadership, disciplined implementation, and continuous learning, the New Orleans AI Education Fund helps ensure this powerful tool contributes to lasting progress for students across the city.
